Thoughts of the Brain

The mind is a wonderful thing! There is so much information stored in my head that tends to be over looked. I don't usually express my thoughts, especially online, so if anything sounds weird then...deal with it! Weird is the new Normal. ;)

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. This is Leo Oscar. He flew in from LA over the weekend to Newark, NJ where my boyfriend, Dan and I picked him up at 6:30 in the morning on Sunday. We are loving our first few days with our boy, and everyone who meets him has fallen in love! This is our first puppy together and couldn’t be more excited. We absolutely love and adore him already! As a proud new “puppy momma,” I obviously have already taken tons of pictures! I will be sure to send more :) He was 9 weeks old yesterday, 2/26. Leo was born 12/25/12, Christmas Day!

‘LEO OSCAR’ What a brilliant name! Lol

Food for Thought

“I want to meet myself from someone else’s point of view”

I saw this on my gf’s sister’s status and it got me thinking. How can I really do this and find out a small glimpse of how people think of me or what impact do I have in this world?

Don’t do this to be creepy but do it to get a better perspective of your life. Try strapping a camera on you and just go on with your day as you normally do. You can even forget that you have a camera on you just to make other people’s reaction towards you more truthful then suspicion to your, more cautious behavior. Then at the end of the day play that video and see how many small things you missed out in your day. Like the small gestures that friends and strangers have towards you or the number of opportunities you may have missed in your day. You could even say that you fast forwarded through a whole day of your life and saw all the faces that past you by, not realizing that they too have missed an opportunity to know such a wonderful person as yourself. :)

These two have become the best of friends within a matter of two hours of meeting one another.
